Description
Human sex trafficking is a disturbing and growing issue that is impacting the residential and commercial property arena more than ever before. Human trafficking often involves women, generally from other countries, being brought to the United States, many times under false promises and forced into sexual servitude, labor, and exploitation – often in the very real estate assets you manage. We have handled multiple cases involving human trafficking, some of which involved women being housed in the unit against their will and some even involving prostitution and trafficking taking place within that unit or space. This informative program led by Attorney Frank Flynn, who specializes in commercial and residential landlord/tenant law from the Flynn Law Group, is intended to inform and benefit property managers and owners of both subsidized and market rate properties.
