From interviewing the applicant, to the proper way to complete all resident file forms and verifying applicant information, the first half of this course provides best practices and details on the requirements for constructing an excellent resident file for the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program.  

The second part of this course describes how to determine household size for Low Income Housing Tax Credit compliance. Details on maximum allowable incomes, household composition on the application and Tenant Income Certification, who is included, who is excluded, and changes in household composition after move in are also provided.
